Aiming to Improve Productivity and Safety in the Automotive Industry
The project aims to deploy previously developed industrial AI solutions into automotive manufacturing sites within a short timeframe (9 months) to verify tangible performance on-site, and to rapidly expand these solutions across supply chains and the broader industry.
As major finished vehicle manufacturers have recently introduced AI-driven manufacturing solutions (such as e-Forest) into their domestic and global factories, the technological and infrastructure gap between primary automakers and their suppliers has been widening. This project is driven by the necessity to bridge this gap and foster a collaborative AI ecosystem throughout the entire industry.
Realizing Autonomous Manufacturing through Predictive Maintenance and Quality Prediction Solutions
In this initiative, onepredict will be responsible for demonstrating and upgrading AI-powered predictive maintenance (a technology that foresees and prevents equipment failures) and predictive quality solutions.
The company will utilize its proprietary industrial data management platform, 'guardione cyclone', to collect and analyze diverse data generated during automotive manufacturing processes. By integrating this with 'guardione pdx', its predictive maintenance solution platform, onepredict plans to detect equipment anomalies in real time.
The ultimate goal is to generate substantial results at automotive manufacturing sites by reducing defect rates, maximizing equipment utilization, and lowering maintenance costs.
Furthermore, the success cases derived from this project will be publicly shared through various channels, including the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers, industrial AI exhibitions, and Smart Factory Automation World (SFAW).
