[Industry News = Reporter Jong-won Choi] onepredict (CEO Byung-dong Yoon), a leading South Korean industrial artificial intelligence (AI) enterprise, announced on the 1st that it has secured the 'Development and Demonstration Project for an Integrated PHM (Prognostics and Health Management) Platform for F&B (Food and Beverage) Process Equipment' as part of the 'ai factory Leading Project' promoted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE).

Full-Scale Application of AI Technology in Industrial Sites
The ai factory Leading Project is a national strategic initiative aimed at introducing artificial intelligence technologies across South Korean manufacturing to enhance productivity and efficiency, and to innovate the manufacturing structure.
Through this project, onepredict plans to apply its AI technological capabilities in full scale to the F&B industry, accelerating the digital transformation of industrial workplaces.
onepredict has already secured top-tier technological prowess in South Korea in the field of AI technology that proactively detects anomalies in manufacturing equipment through its flagship product, 'guardione'.
In particular, the 'onesolution' technology applied to 'guardione' pre-trains on massive amounts of data to create an AI model (foundation model) that autonomously adapts to various industrial environments (adaptability) and can be broadly applied to diverse equipment.
onepredict will participate as the lead organization for this project, collaborating with Nongshim, Nongshim Engineering, and two research institutes.
The total project cost is approximately 10 billion KRW, and it will run for 4 years and 3 months, from October 2025 to December 2029.
Nongshim, the demand demonstration company, plans to introduce an AI-based autonomous maintenance management system capable of early detection of anomalies by process. This aims to resolve the issue where equipment failures impact the entire production line in continuous processes such as raw material supply, noodle making, and packaging.
The participating companies will jointly develop key AI technologies, including a manufacturing data platform ('cyclone'), AI infrastructure establishment, process-specific AI models ('pdx'), and an autonomous maintenance management system (AI-MMS). By applying these to actual processes, they aim to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by over 10%.

"Laying the Foundation for Autonomous AI Operations in Food Manufacturing Plants"
"This project marks a critical turning point as onepredict's AI predictive maintenance technology expands into the food manufacturing industry," said Ilsang Yoon, Marketing Team Leader at onepredict. "By collaborating with Nongshim, we will intelligently manage data at food manufacturing sites and lay the foundation for autonomous equipment operations to realize our 'ai factory' vision."
Meanwhile, onepredict declared its new vision as an 'ai factory company' in September 2025, presenting a new direction for industrial AI in South Korea.
The term 'ai factory' refers to a future-oriented industrial model that automates equipment operations and allows AI—rather than humans—to autonomously make judgements and control processes by fusing artificial intelligence, data, and cloud technologies across the manufacturing and energy sectors.
Through this, onepredict aims to transcend the stage of simple digitalization and transition into the era of 'Software Defined Manufacturing (SDM)', where AI designs factories and optimizes operations.
Under the vision of an 'ai factory company', the enterprise is expanding its technology portfolio centered on three core pillars: the Manufacturing Foundation Model (MFM), the industrial data platform 'cyclone', and the industrial AI solution 'guardione'. By actively participating in various national strategic initiatives—such as the ai factory project, MFM development project, industrial AI demonstration expansion project, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' region-driven major AI transformation project—it is continuously cementing its position as South Korea's representative industrial AI specialist.
