Account Overview

This account is an eco-friendly energy and chemical company engaged in the production and sale of high value-added chemical products, along with a range of general petroleum products such as LPG, kerosene, diesel, gasoline, and asphalt.


Challenge

The client, owning over 2,000 motors, has made various attempts in motor maintenance. Before implementing guardione® motor solution, they had introduced the other solution for motor diagnosis. However, the other solution lacked a standardized risk assessment feature in its user interface, making it difficult for the client's engineers to judge the risk effectively. Additionally, the solution's usability suffered due to a lack of practical maintenance skills.


Project

By converging the client's requirements, the pilot deployment was proceeded. During the process, the customer's wishes were reflected as much as possible so that they could be implemented in guardione® motor.



1. Defect diagnosis standards were presented on the screen dashboard so that engineers could judge the digitized diagnosis values.


2. Guardione® Motor was implemented to suggest the root cause and recommended maintenance work when a problem occurs.


Result

During the approximately four-month duration of Proof-of-Concept (PoC), monitoring and analysis were conducted.



1. The motor PoC successfully diagnosed rotor defects, and the findings were shared with the respective teams responsible for motor maintenance and management.


2. The client directly confirmed the motor defect with the motor manufacturer, establishing trust and verifying the presence of an actual rotor defect.
