Account Overview

The account represents an eco-friendly energy and chemical company engaged in the production and sale of high-value-added chemical products, as well as a range of general petroleum products including LPG, kerosene, diesel, gasoline, and asphalt.


Challenge

The client had been utilizing another solution that diagnosed motors based on current. However, this solution exhibited low diagnosis accuracy, leading to numerous false alarms and significant inconvenience.


When seeking technical support to address the issue and improve diagnosis performance, the local distributor only provided re-learning as a potential solution. Despite undergoing re-learning, the diagnosis performance did not improve, and the underlying problem remained unresolved.


Project

Based on the Voice of the Customer (VoC), a Proof of Concept (PoC) was conducted for guardione® motor, following the outlined process:



1. Motor diagnosis consulting took place, including discussions on the analysis principles of guardione® motor, system configuration diagrams, and proposals for hardware installation. 


2. Following the installation of the hardware, approximately two weeks were dedicated to data learning and modeling.


3. The motor trend was closely observed using the acquired algorithm, and frequency analysis was conducted. The resulting diagnostic outcomes were then shared with the relevant stakeholders.




Result

1. Guardione® Motor successfully detected a broken motor rotor bar that the client had not previously identified or shared. This discovery established mutual trust in the diagnostic accuracy of guardione® motor.


2. The client experienced the high diagnostic accuracy and convenient user functions provided by guardione® motor. As a result, it was chosen as the optimal solution for enhancing facility management efficiency, surpassing alternatives. Timely communication with customers was achieved through the implementation of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) system.
