Manufacturing AI specialist ONEPREDICT (CEO Byung-dong Yoon) announced on the 3rd that its new orders in the first half of 2026 surged by 5.6 times compared to the same period last year. The new order volume in the first half alone significantly surpassed the total annual orders for all of last year, while the average contract size also expanded by 2.4 times year on year.
Beyond a simple numerical increase, this performance demonstrates that manufacturing AI has passed the Proof of Concept (PoC) stage and is now rapidly expanding across real world industrial sites. Following initial adoption results, client companies are placing follow on project orders, signifying that manufacturing AI has entered a stage of enterprise wide, recurring adoption and expansion beyond one off trials.
The proportion of highly profitable and scalable software products also increased dramatically. Software products accounted for 89.8% of new orders in the first half, with the flagship product, the AI Native Factory OS 'pdx', driving growth by comprising 74.2% of total orders. Orders for 'cyclone', a data platform that optimizes and manages manufacturing data for AI, also picked up full momentum, rapidly broadening the company's product portfolio across both factory OS and data platforms.
The industries applying manufacturing AI are diversifying rapidly. ONEPREDICT expanded its presence into the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors by launching manufacturing AI projects with five major Korean pharmaceutical companies: GC Pharma, JW Pharmaceutical, Dong-Wha Pharm, Korea Pharma, and Chong Kun Dang. The company is also continuously extending its reach to defense, robotics, and research facilities, as well as key clients such as Samsung Display and Hyundai Rotem. ONEPREDICT has been strengthening a standardized, product centric business model around its 'AI Native Factory' strategy, which connects equipment, processes, and operations via AI to holistically manage core factory functions including production, quality, maintenance, and energy. It is also leading the 'Manufacturing Foundation Model (MFM) Core Technology Development' project sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
Min-seok Seong, Vice President of ONEPREDICT, stated:
"These results show that manufacturing AI has moved beyond verifying technical feasibility into a phase where it drives real operational innovation and tangible business performance on the shop floor. Centered around our AI Native Factory OS, we will continue expanding manufacturing AI adoption across diverse industries and consistently create operational outcomes that our customers can truly feel."
