It's responsible for ensuring a safe and stable supply of eco-friendly energy, achieving positive outcomes not only domestically but also internationally. 


Challenge

The client sought a streamlined method to monitor turbine vibration levels and rotor balancing data during commissioning and overhauls, aiming to reduce condition analysis time.


Project

Guardione® Turbo efficiently analyzed data to field balance changes in amplitude, phase, and shaft centerline during operation.



1. Orbit data, with amplitude and phase information, was organized in bearing order to assess rotation characteristics.


2. Field balancing points were determined using a 3D vibration pattern.


3. Shaft alignment was estimated by monitoring changes in the shaft centerline based on bearing position information.




Result

Visual inspection of the three-dimensional vibration pattern allows for easy monitoring of vibration levels and rotor balancing information during the roll-up period, significantly reducing analysis time. Furthermore, it effectively enables the observation of vibration mode shapes and real-time VMS (vibration monitoring system) data for the entire rotating assembly.
