01 Client

The client is an eco-friendly energy and chemical company that produces and sells not only general petroleum products such as LPG, kerosene, diesel, gasoline, and asphalt, but also high value-added chemical products.





02 Background

The client owns more than 2,000 motors and had been making various efforts to maintain them.

Previously, they had adopted another solution for motor diagnostics, but the solution lacked clear criteria for the client's engineers to assess risk via the UI. Moreover, due to limited maintenance support from the solution provider, usability was poor.

03 Issue

Reflecting the client's VoC, we proceeded with a PoC for guardione® motor. We incorporated as many of the client's needs as possible into the implementation of guardione® motor during the PoC.

1. Provided diagnostic criteria on the dashboard so engineers could interpret quantified diagnostic values.

2. Suggested root causes and recommended maintenance actions when issues occurred.

04 Result

Over a four-month period, a PoC was conducted for guardione® motor, during which monitoring and analysis reports were provided.

1. The PoC enabled the diagnosis of a rotor defect inside the motor, and the findings were shared with each responsible team.

2. The client directly confirmed the rotor defect with the motor manufacturer, which led to increased trust in the solution.
