01 Client

The client is an eco-friendly energy and chemical company that produces and sells not only general petroleum products such as LPG, kerosene, diesel, gasoline, and asphalt, but also high value-added chemical products.






02 Background

The client had been using a foreign solution that diagnoses motors based on current data, but experienced inconvenience due to low diagnostic accuracy and frequent false alarms. Although they requested technical support to improve diagnostic performance, the domestic distributor only suggested retraining as a solution. However, even after retraining, there was no improvement in diagnostic accuracy, failing to resolve the fundamental issue.


03 Issue

Reflecting the client’s VoC, a PoC for guardione® motor was conducted. We incorporated as many of the client's requests as possible into the implementation of guardione® motor.

1. Provided consulting on motor diagnostics, including guardione® motor’s analysis principles, system configuration, and hardware installation proposal.

2. Performed data training and modeling for approximately two weeks after hardware installation.

3. Observed motor trends using the trained algorithm and conducted frequency analysis to share diagnostic results.


04 Result

As a result of the client’s preventive measures and equipment disassembly inspection, the findings matched those detected by the guardione® solution—stator winding turn-to-turn short and rotor bar crack.By detecting the anomalies in advance, the client was able to prevent a potential fire caused by failure, ensuring on-site safety and avoiding significant losses.
