A sudden rise in C₂H₂ was observed in one of the client's transformers, but according to IEEE standards, the issue was not significant enough to change the condition level, so no additional action was taken. Therefore, a detailed inspection of the transformer was conducted during the plant overhaul period using onepredict's guardione® solution.

1. On December 17, 2021, guardione® diagnosed the simultaneous hydrocarbon activity at the "Attention" level, unlike IEEE standards

2. From April 20, 2022, gas levels increased rapidly, and the solution continued to diagnose it at the "Caution" level

3. On June 8, 2022, a spike in C₂H₂ caused a sharp drop in the health index — guardione® diagnosed the issue as arcing near the tap changer, and this diagnosis was later confirmed during the overhaul period.
